Bantayan Island

Located at the geographic center of the Philippine archipelago, Bantayan is at the northwestern tip of Cebu.

The town of Santa Fe in Bantayan island is known for its bucolic setting and white sand beaches. Several resorts and hotels pepper this little town for holiday makers.

Bantayan is easily accessible by boat from either Cebu City or Negros. The Cebu ferry (Palacio Shipping Lines contact no. 255 4528) leaves at around 9PM twice a week and takes around 9 hours. If you’d like to take a shorter boat ride, you can depart from Sagay Negros (Island Shipping contact no. 352 5103).

This ferry leaves every other day and takes just a couple of hours.
