What’s Better… Diet or Exercise?

For weight loss, it doesn’t seem to matter how you induce a caloric deficit, whether through diet or exercise.

Inducing a caloric deficit in either way resulted in similar improvements in body weight, fat mass, insulin sensitivity and visceral fat volume.

Still, both diet and exercise are important for other reasons than pure weight loss and all fitness programs should emphasize both.
