Ke’e Beach

Ke’e beach in the north shore of Kauai is a picture-perfect beach that was the setting of movies and TV series such as “Castaway Cowboys” and “The Thorn Birds.”

Trail hiking, swimming, snorkeling are the popular activities in Ke’e beach. Anglers also fish here and catch the elusive Ulua fish.

For trail hikers the western end of the beach is where the famous Kalalau Trail begins.

Also, nearby among the hilly terrain is the shrine to Laka, the goddess of Hula. To go to the shrine, walk to the direction opposite of Ha’ena and towards the path above the reef channel along a rock wall.
