Milky white sand is abound in this beach, hence the name Gota Beach. It is located at Caramoan Peninsula in Camarines Sur.
It is the jump-off point in island hopping tours to Lahuy and Matukad islands.
For accommodations, you can either rent camping materials from the Caramoan Municipal hall if you intend to rough it out, or stay in a resort if you’re a creature of comfort.
Locals troop here during weekends so it is more advisable to go on a weekday.
To get to Gota Beach, take a bus or a plane to Naga City in Bicol. From Naga take a bus ride to Sabang where you have to take a boat to Guihalo port.
At Guihalo take a jeepney ride to the Caramoan town proper and a tricycle to Gota Beach.

This is only a heads up to you guys, especially if you’re all planning to go visit the place. I can SAY Caramoan ISlands are definitely a place to go not just only for SUMMER season but also for ALL SEASON.
I lived and i was raised in Caramoan near Gota..for mga DAYUHAN lang ang lugar na yon.. when i say dayuhan MGA KANO or foreigners..
this is not to put any negativity to MY OWN PLACE.. but this is only to warn you..but you can still try.. and you’ll see on Guijalo Port a big signage which NOT TO WELCOME tourists but to tell them ” GOTA and OTHER NEARBY BEACHES ARE CLOSED” places/beaches are as follows: Manlawi, Sabitan Laya..
dati wlang pumapansin jan.. kahit un simpleng island na dati pinagttatniman nmen ng gulamansea weeds ay ayaw n kami papasukin.. the place is called “NAGSAMPAW” and “SAB-ITAN LAYA”
you can also try “MALINDOG” its already crowded but the seashore is still AWESOME at least dun hindi bawal..and Try nyu “BASUD” its a private place.. entrance fee ata P50. npaka ganda at super clear ng water as in sagana o virgin ung sea. you can rent a nipa hut P1k to 1200 or just simply gather ur frends to hammock to the beauty of white sand, trees and rocks…
to rent a Boat/Motor budget worth P 3000-3500 whole day accomodation na yon. Ksama na gasolina dun. Di cla manloloko mga polite ang bangkero dun. that i can assure un.. kayo n lng maawa…:)
To commute: from Manila take Bus (cubao/sampaloc bus terminal) aircon-750 ordinary 550-600 to SABANG or NAGA (meron derecho sabang or hanggang naga lng) takes 12-13 hours (STRONGLY SUGGEST is plane n lng which will only take you to get there in 45mins)
NAGA to SABANG- van -90.00/ jeep-60
SABANG to Guijalo (take harry Ferry boat) P120-130 takes 2hours
Guijalo to Bikal (take jeep) 50-60 takes 45mins
sa caramoan town proper madaddan nyu to on the way to BIKAL pede n rin kayo baba dun ang just look for a hotel or inn na matutuluyan nyu..(NOT FAMILIAR with their rates but heard it ranges from 1200-to 4500)
In Basud you can enjoy snorkling, catching starfish (but make sure ibabalik nyu lng juz for experience lng po..) be careful of sea orchins.. there are LOTS of them hanging around as well hehehe..try to ihaw SAHANG a sea shell na napaka sarap..or bili kayo bago huli sa mga manongs..
Thank you and ENJOY!!!

Reasons why there is no information posted on the website becoz the said place is closed to public..It has been used for “survivor” event EXCLUSIVELY!!.. Gov. Lray Villafuerte’s intention is not for the Caramoan’s tourism but for their OWN SAKE..we Caramoanons cannot even go there…this person even prohibits hotels and inns to include GOTA tour/stay to their accommodations simply becoz, it is ONLY for Villafuertes!! Other nearby places or islands were soon to be closed as well. If you want to try to just drop by near the place you will be escorted away by military men or worst tutukan kayo ng guns nila..even if your motor or bangka is too far away they will see you at ppuntahan ka nila at pagbabawalan
I’ve checked in at Gota Village Resort. We had to go there personally and take our chance to check in at one of their accommodations. I’m not sure if they have an official website. Their rates are very affordable.
Just to correct “wallastik” and “Luz” ha!…Im from Bicol, and I witnessed this scenic view for almost 4 years!.,why dont you just visit the CWC website? They already posted the price and cost of accommodation you are trying to seek for,.maybe you are just too dependent with the net. If you really wanted go there, you will find ways for you to be there!.just make sure you had with you your budget for a whole week!.

yes, I agreed with Luz, I’m a student given a project by our instructor in INTRAOP of operating a tour, in that aspect I’m so tired to fully detailed my work because the information given were inform less. This night I’m so tired of finding how much was it takes to accommodate this certain tour.I’m impressed with ecological cabanas where we can comfort ourselves but the thing that annoying me…is that the information are hard to find. I hope after this message there will be an actions to be done to fulfill our complaint.
We’re planning to stay on January 18 and 19, checkout is January 20. Can you please send me your rates? And also, how do we go there from Legazpi City? Thank you!

Luz and Walastik said nothing to bombard the place. If you would read it again, they are up for the development of the WEBsite. and not of the Caramoan itself. They are actually interested in going there, unfortunately, the WEBsite doesn’t offer any information about the fees and etc..
Hi SIr/Madam Ive just been to CamSUr NaGa Mayon, last Xmas, May Plano na uli bumalik, sino Puede ko po macontact , may Travel agent ba o Tour Guide kapag 12 po kami . Gusto ko sanang pumunta sa GOTA pero sana may Telepono para makapagBOOK pang HOLY WEEK , Yun lang po ,
Nagpapasalamat,
Robert
Reading the kind of comments made by “Luz” made my heart cry. If Luz and Wallastik really want to support the local tourism of Caramoan, they, at least should take a positive stance and help the place. If it merits your favor to really do something, why not go to CSWS or connect with L-Ray Villafuerte himself to correct the said concern and not lambast the beautiful place in here.
I visited the place a year ago and I would say that the place is worth the visit and the people there are very polite, helpful and they did everything in their power to make my stay, awesome!
good day,
concern ko lang po….sana nag lalagay kayo sa site nyo how much is the cost per day/per night ng mga accomodation nyo… choices as well…kailangan pa ba i memorize yan. many times na ako nag search about accomodation nyo nonsense mga nakalagay sa site.. regarding accomodation is one of the very important in tourist spot…but why gota hasn’t info regarding this matter… annoying isn’t it???….so pls lang improve naman ng information about accomodation….panu kayo mapapasukan ng mga turista nyan kung kulang ang info na binibigay nyo, kaya nga kayo may site sa net para buong detalye ng beach maibigay nyo. remember lahat ng info tinitingnan na lang sa website kaya sana lang maimprove nyo site ng gota. kung wala kayo idea how to do it copy nyo lahat ng info ng mga accomodation sa Bora and Puerto Galera….
Goodluck!!!
