Low carb diet beats low fat diet for hunger, mood

Low carbohydrate ketogenic diets may be easier to follow than low fat diets. Those on the low carbohydrate ketogenic diet experienced less hunger and better mood than those following a low fat diet. Those on the low fat diet had a tendancy to experience greater hunger as the diet progressed.

This is almost surely related to insulin levels, a known appetite stimulant.
