Check out this awesome footage of the “Southern Lights”

This Youtube video was captured through a window on the Worldwide Space Station on September the 11th 2011.

Cloud was covering most of Australia at the time so Australians missed out on this spectacular event to the south.

NASA astronaut Ron Garan and Russian cosmonauts Andrey Borisenko and Alexander Samokutyaev were onboard the Worldwide Space Station for just on 164 days.
