  • 4 pound (Around 1.8 Kgs) pork tenderloin (you can sear it before you place it in the crock pot for extra flavor)
  • 5 large potatoes cut in quarters
  • 4 large carrots that are peeled and cut in quarters
  • One large onion that has been cut and quartered
  • 4 garlic cloves cut into quarters
  • One golden onion soup mix
  • One stick of butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • One teaspoon of garlic salt
  • One teaspoon of seasoning salt
  • Water to cover the meat and vegetables

In an eight quart crock pot or slow cooker add the meat first and then add the vegetables and spices. Add water to cover the meat, vegetables and spices. Last, but not least, cut up the butter and place on top of everything. You can cook on low for eight to nine hours or on high for five to six hours. The prep time for this dish can range from twenty to thirty minutes depending on how fast you can chop and peel the vegetables and if you choose to sear your meat.

If you have leftovers you can save them for up to three days in the fridge or you can choose to freeze them for thirty days.
