Fat Loss Foods

Exercise is only half the battle when it comes to fat loss.

The other half involves eating fat loss foods. What are fat loss foods?

Fat loss foods are foods which in some way or another help facilitate fat loss, either by boosting the metabolism or helping to flush existing fat out. This article will provide a list of some of the most common fat loss foods dieters need to consume.

1. Grapefruit

Grapefruit is high in Vitamin C and helps keep insulin levels low. The fruit also helps makes a person feel fuller. The only downside is that it can be somewhat sour, even the sweeter kind that has red flesh. Sugar-free sweetener can be used to mask grapefruit’s naturally acidic taste.

2. Green Tea

Green Tea helps give a person energy if it’s caffeinated. Either way, it has properties that help aide in fat burning. It also has antioxidants that help prevent cancer. Indeed, green tea is a very nutritious substance that can be drunk hot or cold without sugar or sweetener.

3. Lean Meat

Lean cuts of chicken, seafood, turkey, beef and pork can all be consumed in moderate quantities and still aide in fat loss. They do this because they help the body build muscle, which burns fat.

4. Water

Plain old water in and of itself is an excellent yet under appreciated fat loss food. It helps in two ways: by keeping a person full and by flushing out the fat in foods. This is particularly important if a person decides to take a carb blocker, pills that also aide in pushing out fat that one consumes in food.

5. Negative Calorie Foods

Negative calorie foods metabolize in such a way that any calories they contain are instantly burned. Many fruits and vegetables are natural sources of negative calorie foods. To find a complete list of negative calorie foods, a person can look no further than their favorite search engine.

6. Oatmeal

Oatmeal contains high amounts of fiber which helps keep one full while pushing out excess fat. It also contains insoluble fiber, a substance that helps to lower cholesterol.
