Cabins maintained by the Hawaii State government can be rented for $20 dollars per cabin a night. Individuals intending to rent these cabins must deposit $10, which is part of the total rent. Each cabin can only house a maximum of four people.
The cabins, as pictured above, are actually small A-frame cabins good for 2-4 people. If you are going to Hapuna as a large group better split your group into 4’s so you’ll have a comfortable stay.
Reservations for these cabins are processed by the State Park District Offices.
They prefer physical applications, that is, you go in person to their office, rather than by phone or online. Offices are open 800 AM to 330 PM from Mondays through Fridays, and are closed during public holidays. Appplication forms can also be downloaded from the State Park site here.
